DAVE...THE TEACHER

I mentioned a couple weeks ago the Communication Ethics class I'm taking, which is 2 1/2 hours long, in a big lecture hall, and taught by a number of teachers.

For whatever reason, these teachers want even more teachers. They want to turn the students into teachers. I hope I someday have a job where I can force the people paying me to also do my job for me. So, everyone was divided into groups and told to learn certain material and be ready to teach it to the class. They specifically stated, "Have the people in your group who have taken public speaking or teaching classes to do the talking."

I have done neither, so naturally the group nominated me to be one of two speakers in our group. My goal is to give an example during class that involves the word "herpes." So, late tonight (unless classes get cancelled because of snow) I will have to teach material to a 100 or so students. Material, mind you, that I just started teaching myself an hour and a half ago at 2:00am.

Let it snow...let it snow...let it snow.
