IMPORTANT COLUMN NOTE

This was one of those weeks where I was really busy with homework. This is normally what happens when a person does everything last minute. I didn't get around to writing my column till 2am Tuesday night. Going to bed I had a horrible rough draft written because it was a tougher topic to work with. Then, I got up early to do more homework and finish the column since I was past deadline. Throughout the day I revised the column and did some major rewriting in the newsroom last night until I felt the column was solid.

What ended up happening was - a mistake was made and the rough draft was published in the actual newspaper and the final version was published on the internet at www.digitalduke.duq.edu. The correct version was sent to Mailing List subscribers last night and posted on this Web site. There is a big difference between the two.

Anyway, if you plan on reading the column please read it here on the Web site. I feel pretty terrible that people on campus are reading this horrible rough draft. Whenever I see someone on campus reading the paper I approach them and tell them not to read it - not that it matters - I think most people only read the cartoon and horoscopes anyway.
