MY CLASSES
The second day of classes is over, here are my thoughts on the ones I'm taking:
Editing for Print: Hopefully this class will greatly reduce the editing work for my editor at The Duke. Then she won't have to send me e-mails saying, "Dave, you forgot to put any punctuation marks in your column again."
Interpersonal Communication: How to feel comfortable talking to strangers. You should take this class if you want to learn how to talk to the opposite sex at the bar.
Psychology of Personality: This class will make me ask myself, "Who is Dave?" and "Do people like Dave?"
New Testament: This class will make me ask myself, "Who is Jesus?" and "Do people like Jesus?"
Communication Ethics: This class is 2 1/2 hours long and taught by 5 different teachers all in one class. The class is supposed to help me form opinions on the world. Unfortunately, I don't care enough to have any real opinions. If a class was taught in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany, this would be the class.
If you need to vent about your week e-mail me and I'll post it on the Blog or click on Discuss and talk about it there.
